Order of Events

From 1 Corinthians 15, there are four events concerning past, present, and future history. Can you put them in the correct chronological order?

20But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 23But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. 24Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. 25For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27For he “has put everything under his feet.”^c Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. 28When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.

Who is Jesus?

I talked to a Jehovah's Witness who came to the door last week. He said he used to be pentecostal and when I asked what made him switch he said it was because he didn't understand/agree with the doctrine of the Trinity. Apparently, JW's don't believe Jesus is God- but that God the Father is Senior and Jesus is, well, Jesus Junior. Oh, and the Spirit is not personable, but more of an energy force. They also say in their literature that Jesus did not claim to be God.

So anyway, the question is, did he claim to be God? And secondly, does claiming to be the Son of God mean the same as claiming to be God?

I've been looking at this for the last 2 weeks and was super excited to talk about it in small group last night with the high school girls as it went along with the Gospel Journey video series we're doing. If you can get your hands on a copy, it's a great resource.
